Functional - interfaces through Sealed Air Path or Cold Air Intake -
This Suncoast PT Cruiser Hood does not require an optional ram air kit
like so many other brands. Suncoast creates a fully functional Sealed
Air Path Ram Air system. The hood interfaces to your engine's air
intake system by adapting to the OEM air cleaner assembly. The hood
will come with complete instructions, templates and sealing gasket to
create your Seal Air Path Ram Air system. All you need to add is an air
filter to keep out the dust and the critters. (We recommend K&N RC
4340 for non-turbo and 33-2022 for turbo models).

Functional PT Cruiser Hood Scoop Kits
PT Cruiser Hood Scoop does not come with optional ramair kit. Ram Air hood scoop kits are a fully functional Ram Air system by adapting to the OEM air cleaner assembly. The ramair hood kits will come with K&N filter, airbox attachments, all necessary hoses, clamps and attachments. Also included with the fiberglass hood will be the hood scoop grilles and Ram Air decals in the color of your choice. This fiberglass hood system will add approximately 10-15hp.
Additional PT Cruiser Hood Scoop InformationAll PT Cruiser hood scoop designs carry a limited lifetime warranty. Also all ram air hood designs are a composite and resin mixture and finished in a smooth white gelcoat ready to be prepped, primed, and painted.
PT CRUISER HOOD SCOOP WILL PAY FOR ITSELF!! Over the course of a few years the PT Cruiser hood scoop will pay for itself on gas savings alone.
